Are regular inspections of your home furnace equipment necessary if there doesn't appear to be any problems?
The furnace maintenance technician who services your furnace is a licensed gas fitter. He's trained to look for more than just dust and dirt. Included in an inspection is a visual to ensure the heat exchanger is not cracked, that there is clean complete combustion, and just as importantly, exhaust. And, there's more - but without getting too technical, paying a small service fee once a year may help avoid more expensive repairs later.
Here's a link to information on what your technician will be looking for on a furnace inspection.
Your furnace in Walnut Grove was probably installed by GT Home Comfort. Their phone number is 613 634-8499. They do annual maintenance calls, and they can be reached for emergency service if your furnace fails to provide heat.
Irrespective of who you call, having an ongoing relationship with a heating contractor who recognizes you as a customer, and has knowledge of your equipment (and access to parts), provides peace of mind. If you travel - those who mind your home will know who to call if and when.

This is my Garden
Ron and Marsha Esford were nominated for Flowers in Bloom this summer based on what their front yard looks like. Here's what we find behind the garden gate.
